This is the work of Chikuzen Nobukuni group (1650-1850). Many smiths worked in the same style, using virtually the same signature, for as long as 200 years. This blade appears to have been made c. 1680-1750. The signature reads: ‘Nobukuni, of the Minamoto clan, resident of Chikuzen Province (made this)’.
