Dress, black silk, sleeveless style with high neckline and ruching, designed by 'Tarvydas Platinum', Perth, Western Australia.

This full length evening dress is made from sheer black silk, with diamante embellishment. The sleeveless
dress has a high round neckline. A decorative panel of fabric is attached to the seam of the right
shoulder and extends diagonally across the back and is attached to the left hip, remniscent of a sash.
The dress features ruched panels of fabric which create less sheer sections in the garment.
These ruched sections continue through the fitted skirt, in three separate sections. Diamantes and
clear beads on black synthetic net have been appliqued in decorative sections. The closure is
an invisible zip through the left seam of the garment. The dress is self-lined in sheer black silk.
History:
This dress was produced under the 'Tarvydas Platinum' label, a premium range which consisted of
higher quality fabrication and detail, and commanded a higher price point. This style was shown at
Perth Fashion Festival (PFF) in 2010. It was photographed by Aaron McPolin as part of the
collection campaign.
