Encircled by dark blue enamel border with gilt outline and text reading 'MARITIME WORKERS UNION OF W.A.'. Gilt finish border with repeating rectangle details, cream enamel background between the two borders. Reverse: text 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH', brooch fixing with no pin or clasp attached.
