Circular enamel badge with gold gilt finish pedestal. Black enamel border along outside edge of circular section with text reading 'AUSTRALIAN WORKERS UNION/ W.A BRANCH'. Central motif of two yellow/ pink enamel hands shaking with arms disappearing into the black enamel border. Motif overlying white enamel map of Australia and blue enamel background. Pedestal section features smooth bar in centre, upper section with two swirled motifs to the left and right and raised gilt lines in between and two shallow triangles underneath with raised rim and circular holes. Reverse: textured gold gilt finish with text 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH', brooch fixing with no pin or catch attached.
