Circular enamel badge with gold gilt finish raised rim. Black enamel background, text 'KALGOORLIE BOULDER' in gilt finish along bottom edge. Gold gilt circular target in background partially overlain by cream enamel map of Western Australia. Headframe motif on the right side with the tower made up of the letters 'S/S/A/A' running vertically and a circle with cross hairs on top. Gold gilt finish rifle motif across top of badge broken into two parts either side of the headframe. Reverse: gold gilt finish, text 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH' above and below brooch fixing with no pin or catch attached.
