Federated Timber Workers’ Union of Australasia badge, brass and enamel, circular with small ornate frame detail at top and bottom. Outer section of circle in blue enamel, surrounding white enamel shape of Australia with ‘W.A’ ‘S.A’ ‘QND’ ‘NSW’ and ‘VIC’ labelled within. Brass lettering around edge of Australia reads: ‘FEDERATED TIMBER WORKERS’ UNION/ OF AUSTRALASIA’. Emblem of ‘WESTERN AUSTRALIAN BRANCH’ in centre, surrounded by images of crossed axes, saw, crossed hammers/ mallets. ‘4172’ stamped on reverse.
