Banner with three segments curved around bottom of shield with text reading 'UPWARD/ AND/ ONWARD'. Second banner with curled edges at bottom with text 'PREFECT'. Reverse: smooth sterling silver finish, text 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH/ S.SIL' in top right corner. Text '1985' running sideways along left edge, brooch fixing with no pin or catch attached.
