Silver finish badge with circular piece at top with braided pattern around outside edge. Shield motif in centre with cross decorated with stars creating four quadrants. Shovel and pick motif in bottom left, what could be a branch in top left, animal motif in top right and possibly a tunic in bottom right. Curved banner below circular piece with text reading 'Y.J.H.S'. Second curved banner below with text 'PREFECT', attached to first banner with two metal loops through the swirled edges of each banner. Reverse: smooth silver finish, text 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH/ STOBIL' running sideways. Two raised vertical lines above and below area where fixing should sit, metal in area discoloured, no fixing attached.
