Chrome finish badge with green and black enamel. Centre circular green enamel border with text 'NATIONAL PARKS AUTHORITY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA', looped belt buckle motif at bottom of circular border drapes into green enamel curved banner reading 'CONSERVATION MANAGEMENT', banner is overlying textured chrome finish background. Outline drawing of tree and landscape encircled by green border, border is surmounted by curved chrome piece with black enamel swan motif.
Reverse: textured chrome finish, text 'SHERIDAN/ WEST. AUST.' in outlined box, fitting for shanks fixing attached but no pin or slide attached, fitting indicates use as a hat badge.
