[1-3] Three medium oval orange and brown paper ‘SWAN STOUT’ labels. White border with ‘PRESERVATISED. THIS FOOD CONTAINS NOT MORE THAN 7/8 OF A GRAIN OF BENZOIC ACID TO THE PINT.’ Printed in black around the top. In smaller text at the bottom ‘SANDS & MCDOUGALL. PTY. LTD’. The central design is an orange/mustard colour background with brown borders for different sections. Central is a sketch of a black swan in a circle with brown border. ‘SWAN STOUT’ written in an arch above and ‘FOUREX’ in a banner below. At the base of the oval is a section with ‘BREWED AND BOTTLED BY/ THE SWAN BREWERY COY. LTD./ PERTH. AUSTRALIA.’

The envelope these labels are stored has ‘SWAN STOUT/ 1933’ handwritten on it.
