BANDAGE WINDER, Voluntary Aid Detachment

Square brown wooden frame with three metal rods inserted into frame. Metal screws hold the four sections of the frame together. The middle rod extends through one side of the frame, and has a bent handle, to turn to wind on bandages. There is also a fifth piece of wood across centre of frame - moveable to control width of bandages. Written in brown ink across this fifth piece "E. Swan". Written on other side of frame on two joining pieces, one in ink, one in pencil "E. Swan".
