DRESS
H1999.335
Short black polyester dress. Dress has a round collar with a second, larger collar of red chiffon beneath the black. Edge of black collar is embroidered with red scrolls. Black bow at bottom of collar, and hook and eye to hook collar together. Dress is long sleeved, with a black frill at cuff, and a second red chiffon frill beneath black. There is a black metal press stud at edge of cuff. Torso of dress is fitted, consists of long straight panels. Skirt is short, round (which gives flounce) and curved up one side of dress to give extra flounces. Beneath black fabric of skirt at right side only is red chiffon. Right side of torso of dress has slit, with black metal press studs.
