German, child-sized, female, bisque socket head, painted features, blue glass inset eyes, open crown with ash blonde human hair(?) wig sewn to cloth base with two orange ribbons. Composition body with ball and socket jointed wood limbs, strung on elastic. Painted light pink face, dark pink cheeks, brown moulded eyebrows, black upper and lower eyelashes, red nostrils, red open mouth with four white upper teeth. Two pierced ears. Pale pink torso and limbs with painted red fingers and toes. Simon & Halbig and Kämmer & Reinhardt makers marks’ impressed back of head. Two holes back of head. No mould number.

White, cotton/polyester(?) combination, below knee, frill trim cuffs with intertwined orange ribbon, open back and waist fastened with five plastic press studs, front middle seam, frill trim short-sleeves, frill trim high-neck, machine stitched. Possibly not original to doll.

1880s style, white cotton, full-length, long-sleeve with front and back sleeve seam , trim pin-tuck pleat, ruched and frill bodice, decorative pin-tuck pleat and frill cuffs, drop-waist, puffed low bustle, high-neck pin-tuck pleat and frill collar, front fastening, three flat pearl-like two-hole buttons and reinforced holes, metal hook and eye neck fasten, layered skirt, pin-tuck pleat bottom trim, orange ribbon back waist, tape ties inside. Possibly not original to doll.

Child-size, cotton decorative whitework cloak, neck fastened with ribbon. Possibly not original to doll.

Ankle-boot, rounded toe, cream, glued soft-leather off-cuts, cardboard inner soles, hand-made(?). Fastened with three hand-stitched pearl-like shank buttons to three un-reinforced button holes down centre. ‘MADE BY E.H.’ handwritten in black ink on sole. Possibly not original to doll.
