BIBLE - NEW TESTAMENT

Small issue of New Testament, hard covered, bound in fawn cloth with royal crown and initials in silver on cover and 'NEW/ TESTAMENT' in silver on spine. Inside the front cover is a printed message from King Goeorge 6th dated 3rd September, 1939, referring to the armed forces. A yellowed fly sheet is inserted between this and the first page with hand-written inscription: 'T:-/Our Darling Daddy/ from/ his three little girls/ Margaret [crosses representing kiss marks]/ Allison [crosses]/ Jacolyn [four crosses]/[three crosses]/ [five crosses]/ [five crosses]'.
The bible has a brown cloth page marker, bound into spine, partitioned at Matthew 12, pg 31; a paper marker is positioned at the Third Epistle of John, 237, p.566.
