HOLY BIBLE, WWII Jerusalem souvenir

Holy Bible, with Old and New Testaments, small thick book, dark red leather covered with words HOLY BIBLE embossed on spine in gold block print. The front and back covers of the bible have been covered with polished timber. The front cover has one large cross with four smaller crosses engraved into the centre. The back cover has the word 'Jerusalem' printed centrally in black script. Inscribed in handwriting in black ink on the inside first page are the words 'To my darling with/love + wishes for a/Merry Xmas./Ray/ Souvenir of Palestine/16th December 1941.'
