WEDDING DRESS

H1993.502

The dress is cream in colour, with cream and dark green stitching along with silver coloured beads. The dress is a drop waist style, (1920s) style, quite short in length. Around the collar and sleeve ends are grey and clear, beads sewn around. There is a band around the bottom of the dress which is covered in stitching and silver beads. A tie at the side of the band is designed in a horseshoe shape, with two long pieces of fabric available to the tie into a bow. On the sleeve area small holes can be found in the band and around the bottom of the dress. There is also a section in front of the dress, below the band which is gathered into tiny pleats.
