TOY, Transformer

H1990.36

Cartoon character from series The Transformers. This one is probably called "Slot Machine". When it is completely closed up it is a slot machine and has a sticker on its "face" saying so. It has an arm on the left hand side, which can be pulled down to send the symbols spinning. It is a one armed bandit type slot machine. On the base of the feet, which are folded to the front in this mode, are two stickers giving the score for various combinations. The head opens to show a pair of dark blue sunglasses, The base opens to form two feet, and the sides open up to form two arms. There is a lever at the stomach level of the toy which moves up and down but doesn't seem to do anything. All of the front of the toy is silver, and the back is gold. The toy was purchased at the Anglican Church fete in Bassendean in November, 1989. It was intended for Phyl's grandson, but decided to be needed in the collection.
