Former Kalgoorlie Mining Associates property. a. Round gauge is attached to larger circle of metal - at back of gauge is four bladed fan. Gauge reads "VELOCITY / IN FEET / PAT NO 3729 / HIGH SPEED / NO K13730". Calibrated in lots of 500's, from 0 to 2000. Has two smaller dials on right and left of main dial; left hand dial calibrated form 0-19, has "20 THDS". Right hand dial is calibrated from 0-20, also has "THDS". THere is a hook at the top and a stand at the bottom. At rear is inscribed "COOKE TROUGHTON & SIMMS LTD / LONDON & YORK" b. Leather case, felt lined; has small implement which slots into loop on inner lid of case which appears to be used to adjust gauge. There is a paper envelope at bottom of case which reads "Surveyor" and is empty.
