PRESSURE GAUGE AND FLOW METER

H1988.339

Former Kalgoorlie Mining Associates property. Probably used to test air pressure and its quality and content. Has clamp at one side, with pressure gauge dial which is calibrated in 300 lots of pounds per square inch from 0 to 3000. Dial also reads: "USE NO OIL" "THE OHIO CHEMICAL / & MFG. CO. CLEVELAND". Gauge sits atop a circular mechanism which reads: "HEIDBRINK MINNEAPOLIS, MINN". A pipe descends from here and joins with second gauge which sits adjacent to pressure gauge. This flow meter is a graph, the left side calibrated in litres per minute, and has "HELIUM / 80% / OXYGEN / 20%", from 1 to 14 litres per minute. The gauge on right is calibrated in litres per minute, and measures oxygen. The pipe which joins circular mechanism to this meter reads "PAT. NO 2073372 / OTHER PATS APPLIED FOR / MADE IN U.S.A.". Rubber tubing juts out from back of meter.
