BOY'S DRESS

Young boy's (about 2 years old) dress, composed of white cotton cambri bodice attached to skirt of heavy broderie anglaise; small square neck trimmed with narrow band of torchon lace; short sleeves cut as one with bodice, also trimmed with lace; dropped waist gathered to band of slotted white-work; skirt gathered to same band; skirt densely embroidered with large cone motifs, deepl scalloped hem. Hand embroidered, but constructed with chain stitch machine. Requires to be worn over drawers and/or under- skirt.
