BLOUSE
CH1985.312
Blouse of fine black silk georgette, loosely lined with fine cream silk; small turnover collar trimmed with black silk braid loops and buttons, folds onto edge-to-edge front closure, both outer and inner parts with hooks and loops; bloused from yoke and gathered into low waistband, which probably tucks into a skirt but could perhaps be worn as an overblouse; long sleeves, also lined; narrow cuffs. Probably belonged to Emily Prinsep (1875-1960).
