BLOUSE

Cream silk. Long sleeves, high neck. Sleeves full and slightly gathered at shoulders and cuffs. Deep cuffs with four mother-of-pearl buttons. Tight cotton inner sleeve. Tight fitting 'lining', attached to blouse at back but not front, waist length, fastening at front with eight hooks. Blouse fastens at front with seven hooks to waist length. Strip of lace down centre front, with two tucks on either side, another strip of lace, then a half tuck. Three tucks on either side of back forming into slight 'V' at waist. Metal loop in centre back for attaching to skirt. Cotton tape attached on both sides at waist. Lace on collar.
