Dustcoat (possibly summer coat) of raw silk, now slightly off coloured; edge-to-edge style closed by one large mother of pearl button at low waist level; broad collar trimmed with embroidered loops; the same repeated around the cuffs and on the pockets; long, plain, straight sleeves; 2 patch pockets at front; loose belt attached at side seams, closes with another large button.
