Greenish glaze. Low foot. Narrow body, fluted. Gilded, scalloped edge. Band of grey on outer body, with gilded pattern. Pattern number "921". Nairn number C \ 45. Nairn described as Alcock. Might also be Rockingham. Similar in shape to illustration, Godden, British Porcelain, page 380, excepting handle. Central motif on plate also similar. If Rockingham, date must be ca 1826-42.
