a. Cup. Greenish glaze. Gilded on foot, rim, handle and on pattern. Transfer pattern in under-glaze light and medium blue, with gilding. Pattern number on base: "2 \ 837". b. matches a. Pattern as a. Nairn number C / 26. Nairn thought Ridgways. Pattern number suggests this: tea wares marked in this fashion ca 1808-55. Ref.Godden, British Porcelain, 1974, page 365.
