Fancy dress tail coat in late 18th century style; bright blue silk velvet; cut away front flowing into tails; edges and hems trimmed with silver braid and sequins; cuffs trimmed with flounce of machine lace tacked to lining; lined with cream cotton twill, tails lined with pale blue silk satin; hand and machine sewn; altered? Recatalogued 9/1/1985.
