The Iconic Wildlife Show comes to Herdsman Lake Sun 1 Dec 2019 10:00am – 4:00pm Offsite The WA Gould League and the WA Naturalists’ Club will be hosting a FREE Wildlife Show at the Herdsman Lake Wildlife Centre and surrounds on Sunday 1 December from 10am - 4pm. The Wildlife Show event brings together some amazing wildlife, environmental and indigenous organisations to promote our native wildlife and indigenous culture, provide interactive exhibits for the community to enjoy and offer families opportunities to re-connect with nature. Throughout the day there will be wildlife & nature related talks, exhibits, hands-on nature-based activities, a community mural painting, as well as food stalls and coffee. Some may still remember the iconic Wild Life Shows at the Perth Town Hall from 1950’s-80’s, which entertained and educated generations of Western Australians about our native flora and fauna, and featured naturalists such as Vincent Serventy and Harry Butler.
