Geology & Wildlife of The Gap Sun 24 Nov 2019 12:30pm – 3:00pm Museum of the Great Southern Geology & Wildlife of The Gap with Assoc Prof Katy Evans, geologist and Ranger Brendan from Parks and Wildlife. Learn your granite from your gneiss! Katy shares the geological story of The Gap and Natural Bridge, stunning examples of ancient weathering and formation processes in action. We will also look for whales and dolphins, coastal birds, insects and plants with Ranger Brendan from Parks and Wildlife. We will have binocs, a spotting scope and some magnifying glasses available, but you can also bring your own, and your nature notebook to sketch what you find.
