A guided walk past some of Albany’s historic drains that run from Mount Melville to Princess Royal Harbour. Dr. Perdita Phillips is an artist with a fascination for drains, Fred Wallefeld (Wood & Grieve) is a drains engineer, and Malcolm Traill is an Albany historian. 

Learn about  drainage issue that Albany faces, and how convict labour was used to keep residents’ feet dry in winter storms. Discover some of Albany’s acoustic drains and some of the mysteries that are yet to unfold. 

Bring walking shoes, sun shading, and water.  

Meet at 10.00 am at the Water Tank Car Park, Mount Melville.

Cost is $5.00 (adult); $4.00 (children and concession).
