Delve into the dress up box and deck yourself out in high-vis and hard hat ready for a day at the mine site Ore-some! Test your ability and steer the small-scale dump truck from the mine face and take the load of ore to the crusher and the hopper loader Shovelling dirt: Create your own mine site story with this felt board, complete with shovel excavator, front-end loader and dump truck Finders Keepers Dates: 28 September – 13 October Cost: $3 ($2.50 per activity for families and groups of 4 or more children) Age: All ages Times: 9:30am – 4pm Bookings: Not required Collect your bag of dirt and take it to the sieving stations. See what gemstones you can find and start your own rock collection! Down the Mine Shaft Dates: 28 September – 13 October Cost: $3 ($2.50 per activity for families and groups of 4 or more children) Age: 6+ Times: 9:30am – 4pm Bookings: Not required Choose a miner to cut out and colour in and watch him climb up the mine shaft. After a long, hard day down the mine will he struggle or will he climb up with ease?
