Five adjoining fragments of sacrificial planking; two have knot. Plus 22 fragments that may have joined once but are now disconnected. Poorly preserved. Nail holes from sheathing nails, square in section, closely spaced. Rounded nail head impressions on exterior surface. Three fragments (including the two with knots) have mechanical saw marks on their interior surfaces (near knots). This plank was sawn by a wind-driven sawing mill.
