Holes from sheathing nail preserved, closely spaced in diagonal or alternating pattern, holes square in section (0.032-0.053 centre-to-centre distance). Rounded nail head impressions on exterior surface. No animal hair attached to interior surface.

Fragment of hull planking with three wooden nail plugs on its exterior surface! Exterior surface preserved with sheathing nail holes, square in section, closely spaced in diagonal or alternating pattern.
