Stoneware fragment: grey

One partial treenail, and one treenail peg. Treenail has no original sruface preserved. Plus fragments of timber, small, not diagnostic, presumably from ship’s hull. Mainly oak fragments.

Fragments of partial treenails. 1. has two nail holes on one end (one has wooden plug inside). 2. Has two nail end impressions on one end. 3. Pegged on one end.

Fragment of timber, probably frame. Half treenail hole preserved; no other remnants of wooden or metal fasteners.

Fragments of timber (x81), small, not diagnostic, presumably from ship’s hull. Pine and oak fragments, including possible treenail pegs (x5), one treenail (x1), and one small fragment of sacrificial planking with nail head impression on its exterior surafce. In addition to the 81 fragments of wood, also a small pluck of animal hair (x1).

Fragment of sacrificial planking, poorly preserved. Sheathing nail holes, square in section, closely spaced in diagonal or alternating pattern. Exterior surface: Rounded nail head impressions.

Small fragments of timber, not diagnostic, presumably from ship's hull (x4); fragments of sacrificial planking (x2). Poorly preserved; plus wood fragments from billet boxes (x5).
