Marine Life of the Kimberley Region - Day 9

Video | Updated 9 years ago

The animals seen in these videos are being handled by experts who know how to avoid potential bites and stings. To avoid accidents it is recommended that all marine animals should be watched and not touched. Please enjoy the videos and remember to leave wildlife alone, both for their protection and yours.

When the Western Australian Museum goes exploring and cataloguing the remote waters of the Kimberley region, you can be with us in real time.

The eleventh video in this series documents the ninth day of the research expedition. This video showcases 90 corals collected by Dr Zoe Richards during four replicate 15m belt transects.

This video is the second last in the "live action" series of films taken from this expedition.

Further videos after this research trip will be produced once the scientists return back to their home museums.
