Small ToadletUperoleia minima Tyler, Davies & Martin 1981Species Info Card | Updated 1 decade ago Small Toadlet Small Toadlet Belly of Small Toadlet A small (3 cm) species with moderate legs, long unwebbed toes and very coarse tubercular dorsal skin. The back is pale brown and bears slightly darker and indistinct streaks; the glands on the sides are usually golden. There are broad, straw-coloured bands on the upper forearms and patches of scarlet in the groin and behind the thighs. Breeding Biology Nothing known. Habitat Dense grasslands subject to flooding. Etymology minima means 'small' in relation to other species. General Similar in most respects to the Stonemason Toadlet (U. lithomoda). Formerly believed to be restricted to the Mitchell Plateau, it is distributed throughout the northern Kimberley.
