ANCODS - Shipwreck Mon 21 Feb 2011 – Mon 1 Aug 2011 9:30am – 5:00pm WA Shipwrecks Museum On display in the Batavia Gallery from 21 February 2011 The ANCODS Collection consists of artefacts recovered from the four Dutch East India Company ships that sank along the Western Australian coast in the 17th and 18th centuries. The collection is rich and varied including bullion, cargo and building materials, navigational equipment, arms and armament, medical supplies, personal possessions of the crew and passengers, human and animal remains, and artefacts relating to the ships, their sails and rigging. ANCODS is an acronym for the Agreement between Australia and the Netherlands Concerning Old Dutch Shipwrecks.
