In black case, on lid in gold: 'PRESENTED BY/ THE ROYAL HUMANE SOCIETY/ OF AUSTRALASIA/ TO /Lyall Symers/ 15-3/28'. Inside lid: 'MEDALISTS/ Stokes & Sons Pty/ Ltd/ Melbourne'.
b) Citation on vellum rolled into black scroll, ties with ribbon. Xerox copy of details of citation attached to data sheet. Also unprovenanced newspaper clippings stored with medal.
