MAN'S COAT

CH1979.190

Navy blue coat with black braid trim. Top fronts cut in one piece, back cut in four pieces with two centre pieces continuing over waistline into lower part of coat to form inside of pleat. Collar has centre seam and reinforcing stitches underneath. Skirt cut in two pieces (no side seams) joined smoothly at waistline. Back pleat starts at waist. Braid binding along fronts and around collar. Strips of braid form trim 10cm above edge of sleeve. Pocket inside left front and pocket inside each flap of pleat. Polished cotton (black) lining. White lining in sleeves. One buttonhole in left lapel (for flower etc). Open fronted no fastenings. Machine sewn, hand finished.
