CH1983.434
Two-level silk net overskirts on cream georgette lining, with pannier effect on hips formed by swagged pouches of net. Bodice has round neckline with small frill; short, full sleeves also trimmd with a frill. Brightly coloured padded floral decoration applied around waist. Internal bandeau brassiere of silk trimmed with machine lace and ribbon, attached to broad petersham waistband. There appears to have been a matching half petticoat, now missing.
