Bright blue silk tabby day dress; round neck; yoke of white silk fringe; 10 hooks and eyelets; 5 self-covered buttons surrounded by frill of lace; coat sleeve trimmed at wrist with 2 bands of lace and 3 buttons; skirt requires funnel-shaped crinoline; flat at front, full at back; watch pocket on waistband; pocket at front right in skirt (apparently added later); the whole lined with white cotton twill; hem bound with blue velvet ribbon; belt of self fabric with lavish bow at back, trimmed with lace; hand-made throughout.
