Former Kalgoorlie Mining Associates property. Wooden box, appears to have been made to encase set of pipes and pressure gauge. Front has 3 buttons - valve no 1, release valve, valve no 2 and gauge. Left hand side has 2 pipes exposed through specially cut holes in box : top has pipe extending through hole. Box has lid to protect and carry mechanism. Screw holes in box have been filled with putty; looks homemade. Has clasps of left and right hand side to secure lid, which has handle in centre. Probably used to test the pressure of underground machinery. Obviously portable device.
