Postcard size black and white full WWI studio portrait photograph of William Harwood, 51st Battalion AIF, standing in uniform. William wears AIF slouch hat, tunic, pants, puttees and boots. Behind is painted backdrop of small concrete wall and garden. Significant silver fish damage to photograph, some light mould. Hand written on back: ‘Billy/ March 1916’. On reverse, black printed lettering reads ‘POST CARD/ CORRESPONDENCE | ADDRESS ONLY’ and small stamp box is delineated by four words printed in square shape: ‘KODAK/ AUSTRAL/ KODAK/ AUSTRAL’. Printed at bottom right: Ruskin Studio/ Perth’
