Large, colour-tinted bust portrait photograph of William Harwood, 51st Battalion Australian Imperial Force (AIF) during the First World War. William wears AIF tunic and slouch hat. Photo underneath glass. Thick, oval wooden frame surrounds photo. Interior strip of frame painted gold, and large outer curved section painted gold underneath with brown/black brush stroke effect on top to give impression of wood. Reverse covered with canvas, with horizontal wire attached across centre.
