PENCIL, x2, ‘L. Freudenberg Bremen…’

Long, wide, flat sides, oblong, bright yellow and cream, with gold stripe and black text, light coloured wood, ‘L. Freudenberg, Bremen/ Grossenstr. 57/59/ Tel.: Domsheide 23091/ Specialität: Qualitäts-Bäckermehle’ [‘Specialty: Quality Baker’s Flour’], pencil (2). Yellow main body, with cream lines down each side, with a gold stripe around unsharpened end, topped with cream end. Text divided across two wide sides.
[1] Sharpened, but broken ‘lead’. Some scratches, indentations and dirty marks over paintwork.
[2] Sharpened, ‘lead’ intact but slightly blunt. Paint worn all over pencil, especially cream end. Text faded/ worn. Wood coming through paint along ‘Specialität..’ side, and over sharpened end.
