Small, rectangular, light coloured, polished wood with dark blue satin and velvet lining, hinged box containing 16 piece brass and wood geometry and compass set.
1. Box polished all over, except base, with small, rectangular, metal/ brass? plate inset in centre of top, and a small, metal keyhole in centre of front side. Wooden joins clear at each corner, with two small, rounded, hinges each side of back. Inside: top lined with cushioned, dark blue satin, adhered to top. wooden, hollow, blue velvet lined tray inset to top section of base, with clearly shaped spaces for equipment. Space below tray for larger pieces. Top of lock on base read ‘B.S.G.G.G.’. Satin worn in areas touching equipment, including some fading of blue colour. Slight scratching to wood, metal pieces tarnished. Box does not close securely.
2.Very small, pointed, wooden with red paint, pencil. Finely sharpened, piece of larger pencil?
3-12. Small, fine, brass and silver-coloured metal, drawing/ compass equipment. Hinged pieces, with points, dials and inserts for pencils. Part 5. Has small, wooden pencil intact.
13. Small, hollow, curved top, straight bottom edge, brass protractor. Scale engraved along long, curved top side of protractor, reverse side blank. Metal slightly tarnished, small amount of shallow scratches to metal.
14. Small, curved, clear plastic, protractor, with hand engraved scale and numbers. Scale engraved on outer, curved edge, with handwritten numbers. Plastic discoloured.
15. Small, triangular, light coloured, wooden drafting tool. Small hole punched in short side of triangle, with long angled top side, and long straight bottom edge. Small spot of ink? On reverse side.
16. Small, triangular, right angled, light coloured wooden drafting tool. Small hole in lower centre of triangle. Long angled side, joins two straight edges.
17. Small, thin, yellow painted, wooden, seven inch ruler. Scale and numbers stamped into one edge. Paint marked and slightly discoloured.
18. Small, hollow, curved, light coloured wooden scroll drafting tool. Curved design, with open end. Small spot of discolouration on reverse of open end.
