PETTICOAT

H1997.174

Long white cotton petticoat. Split at centre back, fastened with 3 mother-of-pearl buttons. Small gathers in front panel. 2 extra flounces of ruffled fabric stitched inside petticoat at halfway mark, and just above base. Outer layer and second layer hemmed with lace. Broderie Anglaise panels stitched around petticoat.
