Front cover features map of Australia and New Zealand with sprig of wattle and 'AUSTRALASIANS WHO COUNT/ IN LONDON AND WHO COUNTS/ IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA' written in gold lettering. The book gives short biographical accounts of the privileged Anglo-Australian population. By 'MRS LEONARD W. MATTERS'. On page 186 is an account of C.A. de Bernales to whom the book belonged.
