SERVING SET

H1994.138.1-4

Set of 4 glass vessels, yellow-brown, used for serving food. The set consists of an elongated jug (1), an oval saucer to fit the jug (2) and two oblong plates (3 &$). The jug, saucer and one of the plates (3) are characterisd by strong radiating ridges; the remaining plate has a simple linear pattern of ridges that cross in the centre to form a square. In spite of the differences in the plates, their overall shape, including slightly convex sides and rippled corners, are the same.
