Royal Albert, white bone china handpainted tea set: six teacups, saucers and plates. Each features a different Western Australian wildflower. Cups, saucers and plates have gilded edges and handles. Cups are tulip shaped and are painted lime green inside with a gold base, inside and on the outside. The base colour of all items is pale blue and pink merging together. Set is completed by teapot with lid, sugar bowl, cream jug and serving plate. All items with the exception of the tea pot have gently scalloped edges.
[.1] CUP: tulip shaped, with a handpainted spray of pink Geraldton Wax on both sides on a pink/blue base. The inside is lime green with gilded edge, handle and base, both inside and out. Handle is gilded and ornately curled. 'ROYAL ALBERT/Bone China/ ENGLAND' and a crown are printed in black on the foot and remnant of signature 'K D' within the foot.
[.2] CUP: tulip shaped, with a handpainted spray of blue Leschenaultia on both sides on a pink/blue base. The inside is lime green with gilded edge, handle and base, both inside and out. Handle is gilded and ornately curled. 'ROYAL ALBERT/Bone China/ ENGLAND' and a crown are printed in black on the foot. "K.D.' is hand painted in black within the foot
