PLATE and SAUCER, Flora Landells

Matching pair small plate and saucer, hand painted with yellow Hibbertia on Royal Albert bone china. Both plate and saucer have a slightly dished centre with raised scalloped edging and gold painted edge. The yellow flowers have green foliage and a slightly pink-grey blush behind and are placed to one side. Reverse of plate has hand painted words in green block letters 'HIBBERTIA/W.AUS WILD FLOWER/HAND PAINTED'. Central gold coloured printed maker's mark Crown with the words below 'ROYAL ALBERT/Bone China/ENGLAND/Val D'or'. Val D'or is the china pattern which is white with the gold painted edging and raised scalloped edge feature.
